Hello, my name is Ian Gibbs. Currently, I'm a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago pursuing my Bachelor of Fine Arts. I'm deeply passionate about digital creation and consider myself a versatile digital creator. My expertise extends across various software platforms including Photoshop, Procreate, Microsoft 365, and Adobe products.
Mission
My mission in my art work is to challenge the mainstream to fill the gaps where black stories have been missing in animation, digital media, and writing. My goal is to create and entertain, creating spaces where Black Culture is not exploited but explored.
Vision
My vision is to craft stories that bring underrepresented voices to the forefront, celebrating the depth, complexity, and humanity of these voices. I accomplish my vision through graphic work, mixed media, and storytelling narratives.
